Superficial peels are the mildest type of chemical peels and can be used on all skin types.
These milder peels remove only a portion of epidermal outer layer of skin, and are most often used to improve the appearance of fine lines, mild scarring and minimal hyper-pigmentation.
Superficial peels should be repeated every 1-2 weeks. A series of 6-8 consecutive treatments are recommended to achieved desired and best results. After 6-8 consecutive treatments, peels may be repeated monthly to maintain results.
Your skin will show continuous, visible improvement following each treatment. Monthly maintenance will ensure long-term improvement.
Low percentage Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA) are the mildest used for skin peeling. We offer various strengths and percentages of AHAs to achieve the best results for our patients.
